An adventure of a love at first sight with matter.
The adventure was started in 1985 with the creation of rvm (Rotin Vannerie Maharès), a specialized enterprise in the manufacture of pieces of furniture in rattan and localized in Mahares , a small town to the door of the Tunisian south whose artistic soul expresses itself for more that 15 years by its international festival of plastic arts.
Since its creation, this enterprise has grown to vary its activity . Now, rvm covers an area of 4000 m2 and employs more than 150 employees . The range of its products to the design innovating is a real marriage of materials: rattan , wood , metal, bamboo , water hyacinth, banana leaf, rattan core, cannage , tissage , synthetic rattan… Every year, this firm displays a new collection of living sets, dining sets, bedrooms…
In the present economic conjuncture, rvm is highly respected and able to offer products of first-rate quality with competitive prices and the delivery dates are always respected . Indeed, all activities are integrated within the enterprise, from the start ( the purchase of the raw material) until the end and the tapestry. On the national basis, rvm is a leading enterprise in the local market but it has also planned to expand its business to reach the world market.
